- On the 117th anniversary of the massacre, this is all the footage I could think to take, the wind was blowing their names and memory through me and around us. As Black Elk said, "with visible breath I am walking, a voice I am sending as I walk. In a sacred manner I am walking. With visible tracks I am walking. In a sacred manner I walk." From Wounded Knee, to Kent State, to Sand Creek, to Katrina, and on and on, we're still here.
