- over the time ive been on here quite a few people have asked about how i record my guitar for making the videos.. heres how.i dont use any microphones, i use a pod xt live mainly (and boss me-50 if i need a whammy pedal) and i plug directly into a recording interface, which is my mixing desk, a phonic helix board 18FW
