  • My wifes old teak house. the house was on wooden stilts, it had one floor which was open to the elements front and back. Our bedroom was partitioned off in one corner and the wifes parents on the other. We sleep on the floor listening to the village dogs running riot all night. Toilet is 50 yrds into the garden, full of frogs and mossys..Shower was a plastic bucket of cold pumped water thrown over your head. Its amazing how after a few days, you get used to it.
