Cleveland Indians 2007:A Return to Glory

  • The 2007 season ended in typical Cleveland fashion for the Indians, full of disappointment and "what-ifs?". But what a ride it was. The Sons of the Cuyahoga ended a 7-year playoff drought with superb pitching, late-inning heroics, and plenty of postgame pies-in-the-face. Grady Sizemore, C.C. Sabathia, Victor Martinez and friends started right where Charlie Nagy, Omar Vizquel, and Jim Thome of the 90's left off. Tribe Magic is back at Jacobs Field. And although this October did not end the way that the Indians and their fans would've liked, there is no doubt that Mark Shapiro has built a young formidable team that will live on the big stage for years to come. Go Tribe, Our time will come Cleveland.
