One person was killed and two others injured when a tiger escaped from its cage at the San Francisco Zoo today, police said. According to Bob Jenkins, director of animal care at the zoo, the tiger that killed the person is "Tatiana," the same one that mauled its trainer one year ago. The tiger left confinement just before the zoo's 5 p.m. closing time and went on to fatally maul a visitor at the Terrace Cafe, an outdoor restaurant in the zoo located near the tiger pen, police said.It then attacked and seriously injured two other visitors in the cafe before it was shot and killed by San Francisco police, said San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Lt.
