- Rick Derringer hosted an all-star charity show at The Ritz in New York in 1982. The concert featured several special guests, including Ted Nugent, who performs his anthem CAT SCRATCH FEVER with Derringer's band in this clip. In typical Ted Nugent style, the first thing he does after being introduced is to ask the audience "So you wanna rock your ass off, do ya?" He then proceeds toward his amplifier and cranks the volume, making sure he is the alpha guitarist and louder than everyone else. ROCK ON!!
