- Hurricane Katrina - What We Saw Part 2 of 2 Time 2008-05-29 18:42
- The Ruby Refuge & Petbond.com teamed up after Hurricane Katrina left the Gulf Coast in shambles. We assisted in animal rescue efforts at Winn Dixie in New Orleans proper, Pearl River County Humane Society & the Humane Society of Southern Mississippi. We also brought two dogs back to Los Angeles with us, Sunny & Jasmine. Sunny was a severely traumatized pup & Jasmine was pregnant! Jasmine gave birth to six healthy pups on the eve of Halloween 2005, three girls & three boys. They all went to their forever homes on New Year's Day, even mama! Sunny went to her forever home shortly thereafter. Everyone is doing great!! Due to time restrictions on youtube we have split our video up into two parts. The first video highlights our trip & the fostering of Sunny, Jasmine & the pups. The second video is the "Happy Ending" video with pics from adoption day & family photos sent to us over the last year. Thanks to everyone who helped out & made our trip possible! We won't ever forget the things we saw.
