Rick follows her and claims that Deacon isn't going to get the baby or be a part of their lives in any way. He explains his plan, telling her that Deacon is signing over custody to him so Rick, Amber, and Little Eric can be a family. C.J. wonders why Deacon cares about his son when he never cared about Becky. Sally tells Deacon that they're using him to ruin her son's life and clearly the Forresters haven't told him the whole story. Father McEvoy tells Sally that, under the circumstances, there can be no wedding today. Sally blasts Stephanie and warns Deacon that he'll regret the day he walked into her life. After Thorne leaves, Brooke wonders if she could be making too much of Thorne sleeping with Kimberly. She goes to Thorne's office and watches, unnoticed, while Kimberly flirts with Thorne. Thorne resists her and keeps his mind on business. He heads to the shipping dock, and Kimberly is startled to see Brooke glaring at her. Brooke calls Kimberly a tramp and assures her that Thorne will never be interested in her. Kimberly puts Thorne on the speaker when he calls the office and tells Kimberly he's taking her up on her suggestion that they have dinner together. C.J. starts shoving Rick, telling him that he'll never give up custody of Eric, and he will never have Amber. As she and C.J. leave, Amber gives Rick a look that says, 'Go for it.'
