  • The final week of the Serpentine Winter Competition for the Fettes Cup. Swimmers earn points over a series of races but due to ice on the water, the final race of the series had to be adjusted. Thin ice is dangerous and can easily cut a swimmer so the race could not be done. When ice prevents a race, swimmers must at least get in to earn points for that day and they all earn the same points for an ice day. The overall winner of the Winter Competition was Alice!
