- Doctor Who - Blessed Is The Memory (10th Doctor) Time 2008-05-29 18:42
- This video was meant to reflect the Doctor's unrest growing up on Gallifrey due to the Time Lords (the blind) policy of nonintervention. Their consensus clashing with the Doctor's core beliefs, causing him to "move away the mountain" (or where he grew up), to reveal the sun he'd later follow. This line of thinking eventually leading to exile, and his freedom from the planet to carry out his "vow of compassion". Only later to lose his people forever to the German paperweights (the daleks). Although "nobody blames him" for the war's outcome, he's unable to personally cope with the decision he made to end it. The 'him' I thought of as being the Master, whom he now needs more desperately as his last remaining bridge to the past. Or risk facing slowly dissolving into something he'd rather not become. Mostly due to a liberation he inadvertently caused by unbridling himself from the restraints imposed to him by the Time Lords; making him now 'wild' in whatever justice he sees fit for the universe. Be it pure or damning. The ending is meant to show how easily the Doctor is able to pass through the lives of those he touches leaving them only with memories. Truly making him "everybody's child".Comments are appreciated. To download the high quality version, look here: http://www.restarea1mile.com/dwvideos...
