- PLEASE READ:For best viewing, view the video in Full-Screen mode.In 1997 Pakistan celebrated 50 years of its Independence. During the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, apart from the PAF's participation (which included the F-6s carrying the Pakistan Flag, T-37 Sherdil's, , Mushak's fly past of "50", Mirages and the solo F-16 Fighting Falcon aerobatic display), the Red Arrow's from the Royal Air Force specially flew from their home base in England to celebrate and participate during Pakistan's 50th Anniversary. The Red Arrows as usual, rocked in style. The Red Team stunned the whole crowd at Fatimah Jinnah Park in Islamabad with their flawless aerobatics...to cut the story short...the jam-packed crowd fell in love with them...including me who had the honour of watching them fly in style!!! Hope you all enjoy this memorable footage! The Red Team Consisted of the following members:Red 1: Squadron Leader Simon MeadRed 2: Flight Lieutenant Ian Smith Red 3: Squadron Leader Garry WalterpoleRed 4: Squadron Leader Andy AuthorRed 5: Flight Lieutenant Andy QubinRed 6: Flight Lieutenant Tim Red 7: Flight Lieutenant Dave StobyRed 8: Flight Lieutenant Richie MathewsRed 9: Flight Lieutenant Shaun Perrot
