- I was very nearly hit by a lightning strike while standing at my back door watching and recording a storm. The video really does not do justice to the sound and vibration, it was like a bomb going off above my head since it was only a few feet away. Apart from scaring the crap out of me, it caused significant damage to my house especially the electrical system. BTW, please excuse the expletive.
