  • This was part of a slam poetry contest. Vivian High Elk wrote the poem about a creek near Rosebud, SD where some of my ancestors died from smallpox. The area is uninhabited but may be dangerous. The music is by Burt Kills In Water. Louis Antoine did the audio production. Rose Stenstom contributed knowledge of history.
