  • Well, it's the new year and I decided to give this tune a crack while the Christmas tree is stil up. From my disshevelled appearance and flubbed notes, it is clear to see that I am bit hung-over. No matter...still had a good time last night.The tune is in drop-D tuning, by the way....it makes it far easier to do all of that work on the E string. My cat laid at my feet the whole time, so every time I get to the long drawn out half-tapped chord, I kept looking down at him to make sure I didn't step on him. And the times I wasn;t doing that, I was looking at the ceiling trying to ignore my cat. Little bugger.
