- Easy Co. enters the Bavarian town Berchtesgaden, once home to the top officers of the Third Reich, and captures "Eagle's Nest," Hitler's mountain top fortress. Facing imminent deployment to the Pacific, the men compare their "points" to see who has earned enough to go home. The Japanese surrender, however, ending the war, and we discover what happened to the men of Easy Company after they return home.
