  • read this first please:new high score: 257,000+ and 1st place on leaderboardspeople are asking me the same questions over and over, so reading this should help answer a lot of the generic ones. Still, I appreciate the comments/views and stuff, don't get me wrong.Check out the Video Responses to this; they're some other videos i've done, hell, check out the rest of my videos if you want to. I do music videos for a part-time-professional job, so that's what most of my work on here is.So I got my new drumset; unfortunately, it sucks too, but before it turned into total garbage, I got this video of me playing Run To The Hills on Expert, BARELY 5 starring it; it's in 3rd place on XboxLive, meaning only 3 people on Xbox Live have 5 starred this as of December 13th (counting me) on Expert.You'll notice I flipped my drumsticks and used the wrong side of them during most of the video; the reason for this is that on songs with extremely fast rolls, it lessens the focal point of impact, meaning the piezo sensor can pick up on vibrations more easily; it works, apparently.(my gamertag = sskitzzo)The pedal's also a bit bad, as you'll see in other videos in the set i'm uploading now, although miraculously it wasn't too bad in this one.By the way, if you want to know how to do the "notes on the screen" effect; There's a lot of tutorials on the web for this kind of stuff with After Effects, and the best site i've ever been to for them (which i visit frequently) is www.videocopilot.net ; they've got a ton of tutorials, and even a basic training series of videos for the After Effects beginner, and all of it's free. There is not a specific tutorial on this SITE, you need to combine basic techniques that this site will teach you to learn how to do that.And yes, I play drums in real life, have been for 4+ years, so the people going on about "play a real instrument", no, sorry, I do play real drums.The tape is on my drums because the drums were faulty out of the box; the tape holds the pad closer to the sensor inside of it, which allows for more sensitive hits for the time being, until I get it replaced.As for my "bad fills", I mean, honestly, i'm trying to get a good score on the song, not play it like i'm at a rock concert or something, but even that's hard when 90% of the misses in this video are due to shitty pads/pedal.FINALLY, my grip is fine for playing this game; play on this set before you say that, playing on this set is NOTHING like playing on a real drumset in terms of size, height, feel, movements needed, or anything else.Not trying to be a dick with all this, just informing people so they don't keep on saying the same stuff, haha, but don't get me wrong, I appreciate the comments.
