- This is a tutorial by B1naryPi on how to send text messages to cell phones in the US from an iPod Touch! First off, you are going to need the iPhone Mail app. If you do not have the iPhone Mail app on your iPod, see my other videos.1. Create a new email message2. In the To: box, type 10digitnumber@teleflip.com (1235551234@teleflip.com)3. Type a message and click send4. The message will be sent to the cell phone with the number in the To: boxAll recieved text messages will be sent to you as an email.
