- This is a compilation of footage taken while I was in Jerusalem in the summer of 2006. Even though I carry an American passport, I still had to sneak into Jerusalem to pray because as a Palestinian who also carries a Palestinian "passport," I am not allowed to go anywhere considered "Israeli territory." Both Muslim and Christian Palestinians are barred from worshipping in the holy city of Jerusalem. As you can see in the video, there aren't many worshippers present and the few people that you see in the courtyards aren't even Palestinians, but rather tourists. This is a quick edit I did using the VERY limited Windows Movie Maker...a program I hope to avoid using in the future!The music is in Arabic and I apologize to those of you who are not Arabic speakers, but the songs are all about Jerusalem (Al-Quds).
